Privacy Statement

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College works hard to ensure the privacy and accuracy of user personal information. For example, we do not actively share personal information gathered from campus Web servers. However, the College as a state institution may be required to submit information to the State of Ohio. In other words, while we will not routinely release personal information, there may be circumstances where state law requires us to do so. Federal law may also have similar requirements.

The College complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). That Act prohibits the release of education records without student permission. FERPA regulations apply only to our student body; however the College has a similar commitment for the protection of the privacy of all users on the College Web Site.

The Cincinnati State Web site may contain links to other external Web sites; the College cannot be held responsible or accountable for the privacy practices of those external sites.
